Helen Reid is a British born photographic artist based in the Nelson Tasman region of New Zealand.
Helen's abstract and representational images are strongly influenced and derived from the natural world. She is inspired by forms in nature and the complexity of natural light.  Using the camera as a tool of exploration and taking time to observe and discover the minutiae  of the subject,  Helen's  creative process is one of examination and experimentation, moulding the light to highlight and reveal what might otherwise remain unnoticed.
