I invite you to slow down and notice the other worlds around us.
My work is rooted in a fascination with the natural world and the quiet personalities, relationships and stories found within it. I'm drawn to the overlooked - a flower as it changes, a fleeting moment, the way the light falls across a landscape, or the unexpected character revealed when we take the time to look more closely.
I use the camera as a tool of exploration. Taking time to observe and discover the minutiae of my subjects, my creative process is one of examination and experimentation. I work with light, movement and perspective to highlight and reveal details, textures and qualities that might otherwise remain unnoticed.
Sometimes I work with the precision of still life, carefully considering light, form and composition. At other times, I introduce movement and chance, allowing the subject or landscape to tell its own story and dissolve into something more abstract and instinctive.
Across these different approaches, I am interested in change - in what is revealed as something ages, moves or transforms, and in the small moments that can alter our perception of what we thought we knew.
Ultimately, my work is an invitation to pause. To look twice. To notice something that might otherwise have been overlooked.
